Agenda Item: Supporting the African Union

Under-Secretary-General: Efe Furkan Ekşi

In this NATO committee, the delegates will be discussing and trying to find some efficient solutions to the topic of “Supporting the African Union”. The main reasons why we chose this are, to keep the subject up to date, within taking it parallel with NATO, and to make delegates experience the operational and political aspects of NATO at the same time. Since the issue is very general, we expect the delegates to collaborate and support the African Union and address the terrorism in Africa. In this way, while searching for a political solution to the issues, delegates may suddenly find themselves in an operation or vice versa. So be on guard and act wisely!
